In order to apply for ICF membership, any applicant must meet at least one of the followings:
- For new member, be enrolled in 60 hours of coach-specific training in a program that has either the ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) or Approved Coach-Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) distinction; or
- Hold a current ICF Credential (ACC, PCC, or MCC); or
- Have completed at least 60 hours of coach-specific training that meets ICF standards

When asked about your Chapter location, if you are staying in APAC area you can choose Colombo Chapter upfront, or you may come back to our Chapter later*.
*To choose ICF Colombo as your Chapter, follow these steps:
- Go to org website. At the top right, put the cursor on your name to go to your profile
- At your Profile page, find and clickEdit Profile button.
- Look atMy Account Link box on the far right, click My Chapter Affiliation.
- Find and clickChange My Chapter button.
- Choose Colombo Chapter as your Chapter.
